Air is also part of clothing. In Cristóbal Balenciaga's work, the space between the body and the dress is as important as the fabric itself. That ‘void’ creates movement, volume and new silhouettes.
In this workshop, we will explore that invisible element that gives shape. Using different patterns, we will construct envelopes with transparent materials that will allow us to experience how the silhouette changes when air appears between the body and the dress.
