The Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum develops an ambitious programme of exhibits and events aimed at raising the profile of Cristóbal Balenciaga, highlighting his important role in the history of fashion and design, and his legacy on today's world of fashion. The exhibitions will be accompanied by other events such as classes, lectures and educational workshops geared to different audiences and aimed at enhancing the museum visit.

The Subtleties of a Dialogue

The Subtleties of a Dialogue exhibition was first unveiled as part of European Heritage Days at Kering Group’s headquarters in the 17th-century Laennec Hospital at 40 Rue de Sèvres, and moves now at Cristóbal Balenciaga’s birthplace, becoming the first exhibition of the House in a museum setting.

II International Cristóbal Balenciaga Conference

One of the main aims of the Cristóbal Balenciaga Foundation is to promote research into the life and work of Cristóbal Balenciaga. The foundation is thus organising the second International Conference on the fashion designer, which is scheduled to take place on 2 and 3 October, 2025 at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum in Getaria.
