Doors open weekend.

The Cristóbal Balenciaga opened on June 11, 2011, in Getaria, birthplace of the “Maestro”. 10 years on, the centre will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a doors open weekend.

On June 11, 12 and 13, the Museum will open its doors free of charge from 11:00 to 19:00 with an intensified events programme. Thus, the 10th anniversary weekend will focus on commemorating the centre’s recent history while also looking towards its changing future. An event representing a collective achievement and which the Museum wants to celebrate with its public.

Express guided tours

The Museum will offer express guided tours – lasting for 40 minutes – where visitors can discover the main characteristics of the current exhibition “Alaïa and Balenciaga: Sculptors of Shape”. Maximum of 6 people per group.

Online booking

The Museum recommends booking tickets beforehand – for both the free visit and the guided tours – on the Museum website. This is to guarantee access to the Museum, due to the fact that the currently existing extraordinary circumstances mean that visitor numbers are restricted for all time slots. Tickets are now available in the following LINK https://www.yourticketbox.com/SBS/webshop/cristobal-balenciaga-museoa) and can be booked up to 24 hours before the date of your visit.

Acquiring tickets on the day will only be possible from the Museum ticket desk, visitor numbers allowing.
