Drawing from their inspiration from Balenciaga’s head pieces, the final garment is a geometric dress that marries the hat and the dress to make a unique hooded mini dress design. The structural pattern weaves and swirls around, creating a geometry that imparts the illusion of the dress sketching itself. The choice of the white fabric ensures that attention remains fixed on the construction of the garment, allowing the intricate interplay of lines to take centre stage.

The piece is made of a simple semi-transparent white fabric stretched on a boning construction with few, but intentional cut outs to emphasise the link between inner and outer.  The predominantly asymmetric lines meander and intertwine to form a continuous, organic flow throughout the silhouette, only to be harnessed by the underlying symmetry of the construction. The final silhouette consists of a skeleton crafted from regular boning, a polyester jersey with ample stretch, and polyester thread: fabrics chosens to cover the irregular boning structure and ensure a light and flowy feel.
