This piece explores the body as both sculpture and temple, using geometric forms to create a harmonious, airy structure. Inspired by the simplicity of the square, the design honours space and the flow of air between skin and fabric. By embracing minimalism, it highlights the natural grace of the fabric's drape, revealing the beauty of form and void. The result is a transformative interplay of light, air, and volume around the human body.

The final design is a semi-fitted, double-layered coat with an open back, balancing curves and straight lines to create a sculptural, commanding silhouette. Using stone-grey polyester baguette fabric, interlined for structure, the piece evokes industrial elements like concrete. Tailored sleeves are deconstructed with elbow slits for added spaciousness. The outer layer is interfaced for volume and lined with cotton poplin. Two squares at the top mold around the waist and attach via princess seams, while snap fasteners secure the front for a sleek finish.
