This piece embodies the narrative of Finncore, a niche subculture and distinctive offshoot of punk, defined by its rejection of conventional rhythm. Just like the bass and drums clash to produce chaotic sounds in this musical subgenre, the jacket and trouser suit was crafted by forcefully crunching, twisting, and needling a traditional silhouette. The result is a deliberate distortion of patterns, culminating in a suit design that echoes the raw, rebellious energy of Finncore.

This suit exudes a deliberate nonchalance, seamlessly transitioning from a structured shape to a relaxed silhouette through the use of textured, distressed fabric. Accents on the shoulders and sleeves emphasise its distorted aesthetic, as the volume and texture shift throughout the design. The fabric appears crumpled and torn, exposing the midriff and extending the sleeves to cover the hands. Despite its effortless appearance, the piece is meticulously crafted for both style and functionality, with boiled wool providing weatherproofing and durability.
